The Halcyon Symbios CM is a high-performance, chest-mounted rebreather. It is designed to fit all types of technical diving. This compact system is easy to transport and features a streamlined design that stays out of your way. It offers excellent gas efficiency and a very low work of breathing in any position.
Features
This unit uses the advanced GreenFlash™ Optode for oxygen monitoring. This is a solid-state sensor that does not wear out like traditional cells. It provides highly stable and accurate $PO_{2}$ readings in all conditions. For maximum safety, the system uses this optode alongside two reliable analog sensors.
The Symbios CM includes a patented, dual-purpose ADV/BOV unit. It acts as an Automatic Diluent Valve (ADV) to maintain your loop volume during descent. With a simple turn of the bezel, it becomes a high-performance Bailout Valve (BOV). This allows you to switch instantly to open-circuit breathing if needed.
Connectivity is completely wireless thanks to the Symbios Wi-Dive™ protocol. This system sends real-time dive data directly to your handset or heads-up display (HUD). It removes the need for messy cables that can snag or fail. You can also pair the unit with the Halcyon App to manage your settings and logs.
The rebreather is powered by the Guardian r-OST™ operating system. This smart system provides layered protection and clear alerts.
